I've gotten the automated voicemails recently, never spoke to a live person though.

TBH, their communication was weak sauce from the beginning. The only notice I received was through snail mail. And it was one notice about the recall. Never received a notice when parts were available. I got all my updates from this forum luckily.

Sigh, I have to take my car back. The flash for the Ecu/smg broke my backup mirror, sensors, and hill hold

I had my recall done about a month ago and it is a really quick (~5 minute) job to get both replaced. I found this out the hard way when I dropped my car off in the morning and returned after work to find they had forgotten to check the key box at the service door and never touched it. They then rushed to complete the job and the tech left greasy fingerprints on my window and dash. He also left one of his panel removal tools in the car. At the end it was all just an accident and not a big deal, but it still sucked that they left evidence of their work behind.

They were super busy though

Getting mine done on the 21st at BMW of Sterling VA. Getting an oil change at the same time while it's there to save me a little hassle. I see they have an I8 on the lot, so I'll have some drool time.
