Default Business CD w/ A2DP... anyone using this?

I'm considering leaving my Advin Avant2 and going back to the OE business CD and adding a A2DP... I miss the simplicity of the business CD and don't care much for the extra features that come with the Avant2.

Has anyone tried one of these? Pros/Cons??

I bought one of these for my OE head unit. The volume is extremely low as in I can't even hear it at idle. I followed the directions and even looked at Youtube videos, still no luck. The previous owner switched the original 02 radio for a 05 radio but the listing stated it supported that version as well. If you want to try your luck with it, I'll give it to you 35 shipped

I have it, and it works fine. I don't think its 100% as good sound quality as wired...but close maybe like 90-95%. Most wouldn't notice and the convenience of wireless makes up for it. The only issue I had was the wiring. The "plug n play" adapter I got didn't fit well so I tapped the wires myself.

I don't know if it makes a difference because I assume they're all made in the same factory, but I got mine off of eBay.

A lot of these are terrible. I had one before and I had low volumes and weird buzzing and electrical humming sounds. It was not RF interference, it was Bluetooth induced. I got rid of it and bought a GROM unit and it is flawless sound and works with all the controls. I can change songs with the steering wheel. I would recommend anything other than GROM.

I forgot to mention I had a GROM as well. I actually had that humming noise and interference with the GROM initially, and it went away after I redid the wiring like I did with the eBay unit. I sold the GROM because this was cheaper and worked the same. Whatever unit you get, I recommend not using their shitty connectors (GROM splicing was easy but was a terrible connection).

These units also work with steering controls just like the GROM. If you don't care about steering controls for whatever reason, this is another solution:

Do you remember what you rewired to get it working properly? Do you write a DIY? I'll try that before I let it go

I didn't wire anything differently. Just didn't use the plug n play adapter it came with. I followed where the wires were going with their connector to see which ones I needed, then just spliced into them directly.

Are you saying you didn't use the black connector that plugs into the back of the Business CD unit? If so then how did you connect to the back of the radio?
