Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

It's air. It takes a lot of bleeding to get the air out.

Need to open the bleed valve on the under car and make sure the break fluid is topped up. Then have some one press clutch peddle and hold it down then by had tighten the bleed valve. Then they pump the peddle and hold to floor and u loosen bleed valve till air is out and oil squirts out. Do this till all air is out and clutch peddle is firm. May take several times or more. I just did mine and had same issue but I hadn't backed-out bleed screw far enough

Hi guys, any of you have done this conversion using the same bell housing? If yes, could you show us on pictures of the procedure including the machining of the holes? I would appreciated, in the moment im down in south o brazil and we are installing a E46 M3 drivetrain in a 130 E87, and converting its SMG to manual, down here there is no bell housing from a manual trans to buy.
Thank you!

Talking Re: Comprehensive SMG to 6MT Conversion Thread

Hi guys so I'm back to square one with the car I finished it all drove it home the next day it was fine drove it again. The second day went to start it and nothing. When I first started the car dsc and abs turned than went away. Than I saw the battery light turn in, thinking it was the alternator I pulled it out than had it tested. Still won't crank or nothing can hear the fuel pump prime so it's not that. I'm thinking maybe the clutch switch but have no idea I'm lost. About to read the codes hoping something pops up, any help with this is greatly appreciated!

If you have access to INPA you can test to see if clutch switch is engaged. It's typically something simple. Make sure wire didn't pop out of clutch switch or EWS.

Yea I'll double check the wiring, I thought maybe the dme went into safe mode, and needed to do the coding. My inpa isn't working so I have to reorder the program. How do you test to see if the clutch switch is engaged? I also never tapped into the manual trans gear position switch if that has anything to with it. Thanks for your help so far.

The only thing needed honestly is power to the EWS pin
