Default What happened to p0lar?

Im in the market for a bbk and was trying to go the 18z route, but i would rather use his brackets because Im wanting to run the e9x rear rotors. I have seen that other members are also trying to get in contact with him.

Has anyone heard from him? He has been here forever, kinda sad if he left the community.

I had the same issue when trying to reach him. He does not check in here regularly, but will eventually.

I sent him a text message to alert him that you were trying to get in touch.

He's an engineer if I recall. Probably slammed with work as there's no shortage of it.

He's a very busy man and in high demand, but I highly doubt he's left the community. Last I saw about the 18Z (back in Nov. 2015):

It's just not a satisfactory turn-key solution that I feel is sustainable for even the most ambitious enthusiast. If I had my own CNC mill on-site (don't think I haven't considered it!), this would be trivial.

Also sounds like there may be a new need to find another powdercoater :\ Someone needs to buy p0lar a CNC machine and hire him an assistant! We lean heavily on him in this community because his work is so dang valuable

Sorry about that! I'm still around, and still have brackets (amongst a few other new, and interesting, things!).. For anyone who sent a PM (my box fills up weekly), I'll get back to you ASAP!

Just to dispel any rumours, I'm not an engineer -- just overloaded on an upcoming massive kitchen renovation at the moment. (T-1 week now)
