Think it'd be possible to use one of the unused MSS52 inputs instead? There's an unused knock sensor input and a couple unused cam position sensor inputs

![]() ![]() i read somewhere a guy had an ESS switchable tune with 170bhp for fuel saving iirc? with this you could use the 170bhp map in economy mode when there's heavy traffic, then switch to 360bhp custom tune when it clears! ![]() |

Might be possible to tune for efficiency by messing with vanos, but I doubt it would yield much. If we had DI, it'd be another story

Well, it would certainly be fun. But, the M3 gets low 30s on the highway, stock. Better than my wife's e91 328i, which is really fuel economy focused from BMW. I have trouble imagining much room for improvement
