Default High mileage 6spd coupe

Hey guys, long story short im wondering how much you think my car would fetch. After talking to some members, ive been thinking ab selling and possibly trimming some of the fat off my parts collection to hop into a lower mileage e46 maybe slicktop maybe zcp or possibly e92.
Im at the fork in the road where if i go any further im either going to lose money or must be tottally commtted to this specific car.

Im also curious as what you would do to car to make it more buyer friendly as the miles are so high.
Would you do the vanos? Would you do racp? Etc
I would also put the car back to 100% oe stock.

Details
03 jet black 6spd coupe.
Mk60
Black interior
TS trim
Sunroof.
Fully loaded seats.
Premium sound.
194 on dash.
No lights codes nothing. Car is mechanically sound and starts everytime no problem.
Clean nys tittle

I did rear end some guy a few months back but no serious damage.
Now i have not repaired yet. I was going to do oe csl coversion. But have not done it as im contemplating selling. I have all neccsary parts to fix whether i go oe or csl but i just thought i should add it. No frame damage or anything just a dumb mistake on my end coming off a red light.

I was thinking 8-10k range? You think it would sell reasonably fast at that price point? Idk any insight appreciated just want to see some opinions from you guys.

Thanks

I certainly would take the parts off of it. VANOS/RACP won't add any substantial value to a car of that mileage.

Yea is predominantly stock atm besides some interior stuff and csl trunk/diffuser
So it can go back to oe easily at this point.

Would i be wasting my time even attempting to sell such a high mileage car?

You'll be better off going this route, rather than dumping a $hit ton of cash into modding your current car.
I'd get a more solid (ie, less miles, better condition) base platform and go from there.

There will always be a market for relatively cheap, higher mileage M3's.

There’s plenty of 6mt e46 m3 with under 200k miles and no accident that are selling for $8k-$10k. Didn’t you buy yours for $8k prior to the accident?

If you’re aiming for $10k it may take some time, so be prepared.

Yea i bought for 8k.
10k would be if i addressed some things ie vanos etc
I dont see many 6spd coupes for 8-10 though.

Man, I struggle with this all the time. best case i get 8 for mine. Want 15 though lol. But then I think okay, I get one at 70k miles that will cost me 25k and thats just not worth it either, in 5 years I'll have 125k on it and then what? It will Need a bunch of parts and im essentially where i am now So i keep mine. Sure, mine will have 250k by then but so what. With the 25k you save buying a low mileage m3 I can put that to a 911 in 5 years (which is really what we all want lol) and still have my 250k mile m3 to dick around with and do a full restoration on it.
I do wonder how the chassis itself will age which is my biggest concern. I mean, will it flex much more, will the doors literally fall off, will it rust through or will it just start falling apart and slowly get so loose it feels like a wet noodle?

A track guy might be interested - but not with the VANOS and RACP not done.

I actually wonder about spare part availability.

My old M3 was very similarly spec’d, sold it for $8500 with 202k miles. That was 3 years ago though.
