Default Square Setup Front Tire Size

I'm interested to know what front tire sizes guys are running for their square setup. I'm currently running stock sizes now, 265/235. I'm keeping the 265 rear as I have a 20mm and lowered. Any one see any issues with running 265s in the front as well?

What wheel width? 265 on a 9 or 9.5" et 20-30 is very common, but usually requires some neg camber depending on ride height, even up to -3.5.

I am on 18x9.5 ET35 square with 265 35R18.

I have Turner camber plates up front. -3 deg camber. No spacers.

Rear I run 10mm spacer just to make the stance the same as the front.

19' 9.5 ET27 (rear stock zcp) and I will apply spacers as or if needed. I'm lowered but not by much that would cause any issues

Duh... not enough information. Neither of your sizes were OEM sizes. Are your wheels 18Ē or 19Ē and what sidewall dimensions, ie., 30, 35, 40..... you need to help us out a little bit.

I have ZCP wheels. Just bought two new rears for the front. Trying to determine if I could fit 265/30 in the front as well. Will start without spacers and go from there. Lowered about an inch from stock height. -2.0 currently in the front

You'll be fine if you have camber plates. If no plates, but you pull pins on stock hats, you might get away with it (with no spacers) - but maybe you'd need a higher ride height, not sure.

But anyway, plenty of people have done what you're asking about.

Hey bro, just a tad bit of info, when I lived in Arlington and Tysons my front wide tire setup would really follow the groves of the road. Just food for thought. And I'm running 255s up front.

I'm not sure I'd go bigger than 255. The car will really dart around.

I run a 265/35r18 square setup. Tramelining is heavily dependent on alignment IMO - with 0 toe up front I have very little, but as soon as you add a little toe out it can get a little darty. Not unmanagable, but you have to keep your hands on the wheel

Thatís a pretty nice (265x30x19) setup for the track. Be aware that the offsets are gonna be a little different than the OEM ETís and it may cause some unwanted issues. The 30 series tyres are great for the track but are getting a bit skinny for curbs and potholes. If youíre looking for reduced understeer and want to be able to move your tyres front to rear then I would suggest using 255x35x19ís with about 2.8 degrees front and about 1.6 degrees in the rear. If youíre spending about half your miles on the street you should get pretty even wear. Good luck.
