Hog rings are the absolute worst. I re-skinned my vaders a decade ago I'm still mad.

Nothing like that, I'm literally just swapping the leathers from two different seats. I currently have black manual seats. The cinnamon is coming from power seats. I want to keep my manual seats, so I'm just taking off the leather from all four seats and swapping them

Learned this the hard way that these rivets were never meant to be taken out, so they can only push in one way. I tried prying it out but didn't wanna damage the cover so I just cut them. Just replacing them with generic rivets

i went from manual to cinnamon power on my old 330 and retrofitted the power cables into the the BUS terminal how they did it factory... by far better way of doing this vs swapping the skins and dealing with those damn rings.
took me an afternoon but it worked perfectly and had full power and no cut finders

I'm doing the opposite of you lol keeping my manual seats bc I dont want the additional weight. Also I'd rather do this than wiring work tbh. Im not good with wiring lol. It's a slow project I'm doing in my room so it's NBD for me
