The mapping will probbably be done by Aplha N performance Germany at their shop as they told me they would need the car for a good 5 days to run a good clean map...

Just cant wait to have this done as hoping for at least 400hp on 100oct gas...
I'd be very interested in how you get on with the mapping process .

So after a while the parts have Finally arrived, when the UPS called to ask me when I was home I just told them im comming right to you to pick it up:

Just a right fit

All the full Schrick valve gear

All unboxed to see if all is here:

Karbonius Airbox - NOW THATS WHAT I CALL A PIECE OF ART

iNSIDE view:

I just cant get over how beautiful and high quality finish Karboinius does on the Airbox.

Will definetley order the full carbon roof next.

I hope the engine will be in the car and fired up in the next 2-3 weeks..

For mapping I have arranged with Alpha-N Germany to send the car to them for mapping and than immeadetley to some testing on the Nurburgring.

^^^ Nice update OP! Hardware looks like the business, & should be capable of producing around 400WHP w/some quality tuning. Sub'd for more updates!

Hello,

My engine is almost compleate and will be going into the car next week.

I would just need your thoughts on the headers, I still havent bought them and is it absolutly a must or can I add them later on, whould there be a significant loss of power on a fully build engine?

I plan on removing the cats fully and I have a Milltek full exaust?

I would go w/either the SS V1's, or the Epic/Bimmerworld headers in order to fully take advantage of your built engine...they will maximize your HP potential.

Are you going to limit the Vanos so your valves don't clip each other?

Andrew,

how is this normally achieved mechanically without doing a full vanos removal? are there kits available?

I'm working on that, most people don't need it. Also without a pretty thorough engine building process its hard to know how much you would need to limit the VANOS unless someone does all the work for you.
