Default AR20 or Status Gruppe Rasp Eliminator Pipe

Hey guys, I'm looking for pros and cons of the AR20 vs the Status Gruppe Rasp Eliminator Pipe. I have a B&B Triflo that sounds great but I think it would sound much better without the rasp. My question is does purchasing a full rasp eliminator pipe (section 1) do anything performance-wise or is it just for eliminating rasp? If there's no performance gain would I be better off just installing 2 AR20's on my stock section 1?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

This is with ARs and an OEM section 2 (it helped with the rasp slightly)

This is with ARs but without OEM section 2.

I had straight pipes in section 1 & 2 but didn't really feel a difference when changed out.

Thanks for posting both videos. I think it sounds raspier in the second video without the oem section 2. The first video with the AR20 and oem section 2 sounds deeper and less raspy. Is this the case in person?

Thanks.

Custom Performance RTX section one eliminates rasp and also gained some HP on the dyno. I've had mine since it was released last March and works great. Check it out on their site.

Thinking of having Jack modifying one for me to fit my SS stepped v1 headers. Well for when I get around to installing it and of course for track use.

Yes, adding the OEM section 2 helped lower the rasp but it also slightly muffles volume tone. It was also a lot cheaper for me doing it this way. 2 ARs were about 40 bucks and a only a few more dollars to weld them in so I decided to go the cheap route.

The rasp eliminators are a lot nicer looking but I can't imagine having really big gains unless you also went with headers & hi flo cats.

George I have 2 ar20s in my sec one, so listen to my car next time you see me. It won't eliminate all the rasp but it'll to a decent job of it. Also it's much cheaper just welding the ar20s.
