Default What was your worst modding decision?

I've had the mod bug since I bought my ///M and have gone overboard on more than one occasion - some of the purchases I've been insanely happy with, some not so much. Topping the list of the worst choices is probably when I tried to add a new topcoat of Imola Red to my front seats - they ended up some bizarre Imola Dark Pink. I'm hoping I'm not the only one whose impulsiveness has gotten the best of them. Anyone else?

Good to know, was thinking about getting that.

I haven't actually regretted modding anything yet, but I do regret buying a car that wasn't 100% stock. I've spent most of my energy fixing things that were bothering me that the previous owner did.

Dinan SSK - complete waste of money for a rebadged bmw shifter that offered little to no improvement.

Really? I followed Obioban's instructions for sound deadening with my Billy Boat - the SS Race has been great and drone free.

didn't want to put in any sound deadening so I went back to stock muffler and that's with out a doubt drone free.

Have the full SS Race system: when it is complete, no drone whatsoever.

I've never heard the full ss race system so I can't comment on that so I will go with your word that there's no drone but ss race with stock exhaust there's drone and it sucked.over 3k rpm it was ok.

Stance GR+ coilovers. I can't wait to throw them in the trash where they belong. I read a number of good reviews on them before buying them. Luckily I got a good deal on them so I didn't waste that much money.
