Honestly, it's too easy to name beers I like more than Pliny. I had my first one about five years ago, and haven't felt compelled to find it again. Much ado about perfectly satisfactory DIPA.
I'm really sad that you don't like the RuinTen. Of all beers...

Ew.

Pliney will always be a quintessential WC IPA for almost all others to try to match. Def better than every beer in that list IMO.

I don't recall GF getting bought out, but they changed their hop profile a couple yrs ago and all their IPAs went to shit.

Apart from anything else, it would give a tremendous 'feelgood' boost to the end of the season, be the greatest comeback story since Lazarus, and give us a chance to enjoy Robert's laconic humour again. Remember that monster shunt of his in Canada? The next day, as he walked out of hospital, a journalist asked him if he'd seen the crash on TV. Robert Kubica stopped, looked the journo right in the eye and said: "I've seen it twice: the first time I was there!"

Literally could not agree more. Pliny is still the top, however, my tastebuds aren't into the cloudy/fruity IPA's most of you all drink these days.

Holy shit. I drank nothing else through the 90's. Haven't had one in ages.

I like bocks. I agree, that one is decent. Pretty sure we can buy it 'round these parts if you start missing it.

I agree, IPA should not be cloudy, that's reserved for weizens (and sours?).

I'm definitely into the juicy NE IPAs, its just a struggle finding good ones out here.
