I have way too many favorites to list. But the two beers I buy a bomber of each and every week:

Arrogant Bastard & Ruination IPA, both by Stone.

If you're not a big beer drinker, I wouldn't recommend either; something as hoppy as AB or Ruination right out of the gate and you'll probably just hate it. Gotta crawl before you walk. I'd start out with a reasonbly hoppy lager like Sam Adams. Have a few sixers of that. Move up to Anchor Steam. Then maybe you're ready for Sierra Nevada. Then up to something like Acme's California IPA, then maybe Dogfish Head's 60 Minute IPA. You ought to be able to appreciate Stone after that.

I might've been back when it was still a real Irish ale, but that was before my time. Now Coors brews it, and has dumbed it down to a very-mediocre (imho) lager.

Smithwick's is far superior

Blue Point has a good one called Toasted Lager. I also like Brooklyn Brown Ale. The Sam Adams chocolate bock was a good choice for the super bowl too.
