Default Question about Strut mount alignment pin

Hello everyone, do you have to get an alignment after taking the front strut pins out for more neg camber?

I just put on wheels tires ect and got an alignment a month or so ago, had a clunk over bumps, had a rear coil spring that cracked. I went ahead and ordered a set of H&R sport springs and bilstien shocks+struts . Am concerned about my 245 up front tires not fitting so I was gonna pull that alignment pin.

Any insight is appreciated

Honestly, it might not really need it, but as a rule of thump, any suspension work that is more than just stabilizer bushings or springs swap, would probably need an alignment. You don't want to ruin your tires. A good 1-axle alignment shouldn't run you more than $100.

Usually a change in camber also results in a toe change. I would get an alignment after pulling the pins, let alone any suspension work.

As others have said, I would get it aligned based on the fact you're replacing a whole bunch of suspension components.

When it comes to removing the pin, the change in toe really isn't that dramatic - if you wanted to push the struts in for a track day, pull them back out to a marked location for road use, etc. it's probably going to be just fine.

However, in your situation I would say to just do the work and get it aligned at a good shop (i.e. not anything that resembles a quick lube)
