Yep, I love that car. The sound is intoxicating, and the speed increases at an alarming rate in a straight line. But after awhile, 600hp starts to feel normal. My next plans are to change the intake tubing and add a small pre-compressor water/meth jet. The next step would be to drop down another pulley size and retune it. I'm trying to get the m3 back together before starting on the m5. Clearly, the m3 is a smaller, more responsive handling car, but the m5 is still a beast.

Just to keep it updated:

I swapped the pulley again. Current size is 88mm. The ESS kit came with a 96mm.

92mm vs 88mm

Custom tune by Nick G. and CES Motorsport

Dyno time

Before and after pulley swap/tune

550whp on a conservative tune, redline lowered from the ESS 7200rpm to 7000, 8 lbs of boost. Nick Glantzis and John Couchell did an incredible job.

Now the question is can the m3 ever catch up?

e39 vs e46

550 rwhp and 450 lbs rwtq is great for a daily driver. Be happy and leave it alone. Great job making old E39 competitive with or faster than most newer performance cars.
