Default Some studio shots of my Track/Street E46 M3

After 10+ years of ownership and 160k total miles I've finally started looking around for a replacement for my M3. It served as my daily driver for 5 of those years and now enjoys its retirement life as my weekend fun/track car. I've always loved the 911 GT3RS philosophy and wanted to make my own interpretation with my E46 (which I payed homage with the Signal Green painted roll bar). After going about 2 years without any real polishing, I decided to get a proper paint correction on it combined with ceramic sealant. What a difference that makes to Carbon Black!

While I was at it I booked some studio time at a local studio here in Austin for it in case I man up and list it for sale on Bring a Trailer or something. I figure if I don't end up listing it, I've got some good print material for the garage and it would be fun to see the car in pictures in a different type of setting. The guys at the studio (called Right Over Crest) were fantastic to work with and gave a quick turnaround on the photos. Would definitely recommend them.

Is it weird it felt like a Boudoir photoshoot gift for a significant other?

Anyway, I decided to bring a set of 2 of my 18x10 +40 BBS RE GT4 track wheels to the shoot to show how it looks at the track. First pics are with my street Apex wheels and the last couple are with the BBSes. I've resized them to fit the screen but I do have clearer high quality versions of these pics available. Enjoy!

The engine bay wasn't washed, polished, or detailed for this, but thought a shot of the airbox would be nice to have:

...and after she got prettied up, she got back to the track to get dirty yesterday and performed flawlessly. Damn I love this car.

These shots are awesome. I would have guessed the car has 60k miles, not 160k. Car looks amazing

Chances are I'll keep this and head up to MSR sometime! Would love to see any of those cars in your stable. Still contemplate buying NSX every other week or so.

Thanks! They're the OEM wheels for the M235ir and E92 M3 GT4 factory race cars so they're a good fit for the E46 (aside from the 5mm and 3mm spacers required for clearance).

High praise coming from you! Hoping I can add a Porsche to complement the E46 as well. After seeing these pics I realize I need to recondition the arm rest and replace the 8yr old ZHP knob but those are minor things. As you guys know keeping up with these cars is a lot of work (especially mechanically), but it's mostly a labor of love and it repays you back in being a rewarding car to drive. Just being able to mix it up on track with Cayman GT4 Club Sports, M235ir, and numerous other race cars in my 16 yr old car always makes me a proud owner. It's never left me stranded and has been solid for every track day it's been to. Same can't be said for my Audi.

Next up I'll replace the rear 3/4 window weatherstripping and possibly update the brakes to APs on all corners (unless I jump for a GTx Porsche).
