Default Wonky SMG Rev Match Parameters

We recently acquired a new vehicle and it came with a tune on it. Supposedly this tune included DME parameters to improve the SMG performance as well as tuning the SMG unit itself.

I decided to dig into the tune to see exactly what they had changed and what I found seems rather odd. Either my XDF is totally out of whack or the DME looks at this table and ignores it because the values make no sense.

In my XDF the table is called KF_SMG_N_ZIEL_OFF_S, I believe it is better known as "SMG_II_TARGET_ENGINE_SPEED_OFFSET_SPORT" from this thread(http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=457302).

Please see attached screenshot for the KOMFORT and SPORT tables. The KOMFORT table looks totally normal (copied from CSL parameters), but the SPORT table does not look normal.

Opinions?

Seems like the 2501 xdf has the formula for the komfort map set to 100-((x/128)*100), while the sport map formula is set to x/128*100. I don't know which formula is correct / preferable. My 2701 xdf (which has the same layout as 2501) has both formulas set to x/128*100. Likewise with my CSL xdf. When comparing on that basis, those maps are similar to what is in the real CSL (though the sport map is different)

As are there are known inconsistencies, if you are willing to correct the XDF mistakes you find, it would be awesome to correct the ones on github as well, and that would mean checking all the XDFs in this case to make sure the conversions are the same. EACMEN, you have permissions on that github to correct/change things. It might be nice to add to the wiki as well when you find things....

Looks like the A2L uses the formula x/128 * 100. Brian (SliM3) seems to have preferred the 100 - x/128*100 form. Honestly I'm not even 100% sure what that map does, but my gut tells me the A2L definitions should be used whenever possible.

^I do agree, A2L values should be used.

Guys, I disclosed earlier when I posted my xdf that a lot of the formulas are modified/converted so I could view & interpret data with values that I'm used to seeing (i.e. Nm to ft-lbs., radians/sec to ft/sec, kmh to mph, etc.).

If you choose to reference my xdf you should or should've been aware of this & quite frankly the manager of the repository needs to add a disclaimer since I'm not actively managing that version of the xdf anymore.

2501 was the only XDF with the bad formula in it. There is a pending PR in the github project to fix it.
