Guys and Gals: I wanted to start a thread where we can start sharing the work we have been doing in our cars and the result we got out of it for others to learn from, try to emulate.
Inorder to do this we may have to describe what all we have done in the tune so people using it can revert back some changes if they don't want it.
Always be sure to do a cal compare before you flash. Take only the tunes you think will work for you.
Use at your own risk of course.

I have saved mine as a .pdf but I think you can rename it as .bin
Mods to car: No mods. Just a KN filter
CATS: Yes Stock headers with CAT
Main Tune changes:
Aggressive throttle mapping
Higher idle speed (1000) to avoid idle hunting
Higher throttle opening angle (more intake noise)
A degree more spark everywhere (car has 170k miles so compression should be lower and hence lesser chance for knock)
Exhaust Vanos timing at idle changed. Car kept saying my Exh cam was too retarded after I did the Vanos rattle adjustment. Tried fixing it a few times by redoing cam timing. Finally made a change where ECU will not attempt the exh vanos timing at idle (super early opening to avoid overlap)
CAT eff DTC removed (high mileage)

this is great! Would love to see if anyone could post up an Alpha N tune as a BIN that i could try for a stock base map.

Should BINs be labeled if they originated from an MSS54 or MSS54HP? or will the size be apparent enough 32KB or 64KB

Not a problem I will find out the ECU information so folks running the same setup can use it directly.
Ideally id like to also post the XDF files. I dont know why an XDF file is such a closely guarded secret. The more people using it the better as we can develop more maps.

I agree, it was alot of good support here, then sudenly "someone" decided to make a "tuner program for dummies" and thats the only thing geting support here

The problem with the xdf is the guy running the project went MIA and it's not necessarily 100% complete/accurate... which could lead to people changes things they don't intend to.

I completely agree it should be openly posted, and made correct. I don't have it, personally.

I think the issue is liability. If someone makes really aggressive changes because they've never tuned before and blows up their motor who becomes liable? Sucks that tap is MIA but if you really need an xdf you can find the A2L on google and use the info on this forum to make one. Really isn't that hard, you only need to find 20-30 parameters max to fully tune this car. The ones you need to change have been specified in various threads in this sub forum. Debating whether to make a thread to condense the info, might do it one day.
