Default LSB 45k M3

I found an M3 about three hours away from me and really like it.

Its an 02 BMW M3 LSB Convertible

It has 45k miles and smg.

Im in the north east and the car was originally from Florida (means no rust... right?)

From what I can tell the cars in great shape.

The guy is strict on his price. He told me he declined 16,800 and wants 17k because he bought rear tires recently.

Am I out of my mind to believe this is worth it? Please let me know in the comments what this car is really worth. Thanks

Very nice looking car and I love that color. It just seems to look a different shade throughout the day as light reflection changes outdoors.

Honesly, with the miles the car has and if it really has been well taken care of as he has stated in his ad....I would say maybe $16,000. The miles are low, but you do need to keep in mind that these cars are now depreciating at a pretty rapid rate. I would credit that to the new M that will be comming out, and might I add it looks like it will be a sexy beast! I really just wish BMW would not go the "turdo" route and stick with a N/A Engine. Oh well.....changing times I guess.

The only negative thing about this car as far as my personal opinion is the SMG. I just like to have that third pedal and shift through my gears.

Otherwise.....very nice looking ride. GL if you pull the trigger.

SMG is actually a plus for me. I brought the guy down to 16,500 and will flash him 16,000. I think he will take it because I convinced him to drive down 3 hours to bring the car to me and then I'd drive him back (as crazy as that sounds)

I don't like how those wheels aren't staggered... also, what do the maintenance records say?

Price is worth what he's asking. That is some shady dealings. If I was selling I'd be irate if that happened, and I'd drive back with the car and not sell it to someone who tried to pull a move like that on principal.

Havent checked the maintenance. I lost my access to free carfax last week. He says everythings good. But if I did this deal I'd obviously get a PPI to make sure everythings in goodstanding.

Just so that you know - Carfax isn't that reliable. If he did maintenance on it, he should have paperwork for it. Take it to a reputable indy for a PPI and they should tell you if the car was in an accident, any resprays that were done, and obviously what needs fixing.

LOL, me too! I'd be PISSED! I'd say see ya bro!

OP, this car and color with that low mileage is a GREAT deal at 16500.
