Default For sale: 2005 m3

2005 M3 - Black interior - Really in nearly perfect shape
75,xxx miles
$24300
Location - Raleigh area North Carolina

FACTORY: Navigation (2009 maps), SMG, 19" OEM wheels, HK Audio, Xenon, Moon Roof, Memory seats, heated seats, side airbags, Rear parking sensors, Cold weather, Pwr seats - both front, bluetooth, alarm, cd changer, headlight washers, rain sensing wipers (nearly all factory options)... (everything available but no rear sunshade, no power lumbar adjustment)

MODS: Borla X-pipe (Cat to Mufflers) (Borla mufflers still installed, but selling them separately - putting stock ones back on), Bilstein PSS10 Suspension (lifetime warranty), K&N Cold air intake, H&R spacers front and rear (make wheel wider out to side), Turner Sway bars F/R, Turner Bar links F/R, Tuner Camber Plates (to proper align car after the 1" lowering by the PSS10 kit), Rogue Engineering bushings F/R, smoked signals front, black grill front and side ( again all done in 2009), Tinted Windows

I do have the stock mid-pipe to go with the car.

Oil change just done with Tischer Oil change kit.
I need to get BMW records printed... but before warranty was over....all this was done...
Tranny fluid, ENTIRE SMG HYDRAULIC PUMP replaced, SMG fluid, and clutch, done at 51k
Valve adjust, external belts, spark plugs at 48k

Paint is in nearly perfect condition. Not even a door ding/dent on car. Interior has no blemishes but missing little silver (-) insert on left paddle shifter.

New Slotted front rotors and pads installed 08/15/2010.
New rear tires put on 08/16/2010 - Ventus V12's 295/30 19
Alignment done 08/17/2010
Front tires have 50% tread left.
Just got the car back from the Indy shop 08/05/2010 for a "Post Purchase Inspection". The guys were amazed at the cleanliness of the car. I made them look at all the ball joints, suspension, frame, and PSS10 set. I had them inspect SMG fluid, coolant and power steering fluid, all clear or blue. I also made them open up the tranny plug and the differential fluid fill plug to look at the quality of the fluid and all was nice and clean. They said it needs rear tires and front brakes...as I already know and am going to replace.

Nice looking car, best on the sale.

Do you have the stock intake box, and stock exhaust sections 1, 2, and muffler?
If you install those, you will find the car to not be too noisy at all.
The current intake and exhaust setup is way louder than stock, and probably drones a lot between 2,500 and 3,000 RPM.

Put those back to stock, and the car will sound good, with no drone issues.
And, it will perform better, because the stock intake keeps the air temp cooler than the K&N that's on there now.
That K&N is picking up plenty of heat from the radiator hose area.

I do have the stock exhaust still. The intake box is on its way from other owner.

K&N really isn't that loud but notable to say the least, and the exhaust has a pretty nice tone too it. Really mean sound but not overwhelming at all until you get to 5000rpm on throttle. Wow is sounds great!

Thanks for the help and the props.

Has this car ever had the Dinan Supercharger kit installed?

I remember a guy selling and he was based out of the RTP area - was that you? I'm near Duke campus and would be willing to drop by and see it next week if you are free.

Nope this car to my knowledge has never been supercharged. This car came from Atlanta, then to Texas, then to me.

The car is kinda growing on me, but still willing to part ways.

Let me know, I will be around this weekend.

How low do I need to go to get people to even look at the car?
