Default Track car wiring question

Hey all,

I'm in the midst of thinning out my wiring harness in my e46 m3 track car. It has no body electronics except windshield wipers, brake lights, and the gauge cluster. I'm assuming that i'm free and clear to removing all the wiring from the GM5 body module (except for windshield wipers), right? Wiring this up is a bit intimidating, as it's my first rodeo, so a input would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
