The only clunk I ever had from my suspension was from a slightly loose bolt on the sway bar links. They're tricky to tighten because you have to keep the bolt behind the rubber ball joint from spinning with a thin spanner wrench.

Great review, glad you liked them aside from the price!

I have a stage 3 dinan suspension, love it so much. I have Koni STR-T's on the DD 325i, and wow these yellow's blow everything out of the water.

Put an air wrench on low torque setting on the top nut of the side making noise; sometimes it's hard to get them all the way down.

Sorry to update a old thread. Did you notice 1/2 inch drop on the Dinan springs? Reading another members review he stated that the rear actually looked higher then stock. Does anyone have some input? Thanks.

OP's OP listed the difference in ride height.

I have a dinan stg 1 on my XI and it took quite a while to settle into its final ride height.

It has been a very long time since I made this thread and thought I'd update and ask a question.

Believe it or not in those 8 years I have only put 35k miles on the M. The suspension is still feeling tight and awesome.

I do however notice at times if I am hard on the gas to induce some wheelspin, the rear end likes to chatter. In my experience with motorcycles this is a result of too much rebound damping because the tire can't rebound quick enough to stay on the ground. So I have adjusted the rear shocks in to 3/4 turn from soft, from the 1-3/8 turns from soft I had it at. Hopefully it can help and seems more in-line with what others run who are using the koni yellow shock.

1&3/8 was definitely too much, especially for such mild springs.

I'd run both f & r on full soft, or now that you have 35k on them and they're less efficient than new, maybe a quarter/ half turn, to compensate.

I only do a half turn to full turn and that's with 440lb/550lb springs which the dinans are not.
