$2200 is cheap. Thereís a lot of prep work and reassembly. You need to remove the entire interior and glass. Or at least cover up stuff. Iím pretty sure thatís not included in the price.

Great job! I guess $2200 is a bargain then as the more common price seems to be $3-4K.

I paid 3.5K for a SCCA/NASA spec cage 1.75OD mild steel paint included

No, I'm stripping the interior myself and painting. My goal is to be able to drive the car on the street occasionally, yes I'm aware of the risks. I will have Sparco Halo seats. Hope it can be done without removing glass. Cage builder didn't say anything about removing glass.

Youíd need to remove if youíre installing a pillar gussets.
