Though I'd argue that good images have less to do with equipment than eye and post processing... EOS 20D with grip, 70-200 2.8L non-IS, 24-70 2.8L, 50 1.8/II, 580EX, Manfrotto tripod and Bogen six way head, etc.

How do you like that telephoto lense? This was going to be my next purchase for the camera. I have the Nikon 55-200mm f/4.5 and it's pretty good too. I'm looking to buy the Nikon 70-200mm or maybe the 70-300mm. The new VR lenses are outstanding....

I have run the gamut of Nikon products, started with a D70, to a D40, to D200, to D2x, then to the D3. Same with lenses, I went through a ton of lenses before settling into this latest collection. This kit is made for traveling light, since we travel all over the world frequently with a kid. I usually leave the 35-70 for ultra lightness, since the 50mm can cover the 35-70 (using my legs to zoom lol)

I may have procured a Nikon D7000 recently

I have no idea how to use it. Teach me please.

Generally use the iPhone 4 for everything. Had a 7.2 MP Canon PowerShot lying around here somewhere, not sure where it went.

This thread makes me cry. Simply because I can't afford the absurd costs of lenses and bodies.
