Default Dive Site Recommendations in Jamaica

Hey all, the family and I will be taking a much needed vacation next month in Jamaica, and I want to get a couple of dives in with the wife. So far I've got five dives in Mexico and six in the Galapagos, which were a little more advanced. My wife, on the other hand, couldn't do the Ecuador dives since she was pregnant so she'll need something a little less challenging.

Been going through trip advisor and all that, but wanted to see if any of you world travelers have any recommendations for dive sites? We'll be staying in Lucea, situated between Negril and Montego Bay. Thanks

Only thing I can offer is a joke about going to Hedonism and diving deep into something else.

Good luck and have fun!

Get on a plane and fly to Cuba or Cayman. Jamaica is not the greatest.

You should not expect much if you dive anywhere around Jamaica. It's heavily overfished. I did some diving when I was there but it was nothing compared to Cozumel, Belize, Roatan or Grand Cayman. It was a while ago. I think it was runaway bay. You might want to check out scubaboard for current info.
