Default Upgraded to the modern style windshield wipers

Ever since i bought my M in 2008 I've been unhappy with how the windshield wipers have been shuddering and making terrible noise when in use.
Even after changing the rubber and trying to alter their angle against the windshield.

So recently I noticed there are modern style ones from BMW, so I got them.
And low and behold, they are quiet and work perfectly!!

(Yes, they do look a bit "fat", but thats a price I'm absolutely willing to pay)

Tried and wasn't a big fan of the Bosch blades. They were good initially, but wore quickly and didn't wipe as evenly across the length and sweep of the blade in varying moisture/dirt conditions. Switched back to the OE-style.

Agree. I switched to the PIAA Silicone and have been pretty happen since you can switch out just the blades for $8.

That's not good news, but thanks for sharing.
As these are working better than the originals ever did, I'll keep them on to see how long they last.

"Upgrading" to those is a regret of mine, and I threw away the original arms (which BMW no longer sells). I suggest hanging onto them in case you change your mind. The new ones do not wipe well at speed.

Same here. Wish I had kept my old arms.

Amazon supposedly carries the BMW blades.

Yeah, not a fan. They tend to "flop" as the arm changes direction, drove me nuts.

The OE arms are flawless, smooth and dead silent. I just put new OE "olds" on and they're amazing.
