The Santa Clause ... forgot about the SHO in it.

yellow yellow yellow: The IndyCar Safety Team - if you're into racing documentary without deaths, this is good

one by one (the quick and the dead) - 1974 flick about F1. Lots of good footage and interviews. Nudity and dead bodies tho.

Saw the last jedi. It was okay, but not great, which is how I rated most of the star wars movies. IMO, much of the CGI is gratuitous (e.g., Luke milking the creature) or simply a ploy for merchandising (e.g., the porgs and vulptices). Okay for a kid's movie, but off-putting for an adult's movie.

Watched The Disaster Artist over the weekend and absolutely loved it. It was hilarious. Didn't know much of the back story and never saw the Room but don't think that affected my viewing at all

The Night Before

(Comedy about the night before Xmas with Seth Rogen)

Pretty decent - not sure how I completely missed this one as it came out a few years ago. Some decent laughs, very time appropriate & festive, and only $0.99 to rent on Amazon now = solid “buy”

The Fifth Element is great, I still remember the first time I saw it in the theater and nearly laughed myself out of breath at Chris Tucker’s character when those creatures were shooting up the concert hall, lol.

Bright on Netflix. Bad boys + Lord of the rings-ish. Cops, race relations, magical creatures. Pretty damn good.

I saw the still ad for this and it looks like a take on that James Caan/ Mandy Patinkin movie Alien Nation. I still might check it out, i read Netflix already ordered a sequel to it.
