Default DBW delete.

howdy.
not too much out there on this for e46 atleast.
I understand it deletes dsc but I don't use it anyway.
torque management wouldn't be too Kool to lose tho haha.
has anyone had any experience with this mod?
I'm curious if this can be done on a oe dme? flashed obviously.
id be running it in conjunction with a cf box so id like to put a map tune on there as well.
if standalone is the best option which would you buy?
I feel aem infinity is over kill.
any experience with bimmerworld/epic "standalone conversion"
seems sus and can't find any reviews on it.
this isn't a full blown racer so inspections are important haha.
not sure if I could keep this endeavor inspection friendly though.
worst case id just keep a stock dme to pass.
not sure of the ability of these standalone I know they're good.
not sure if it would even be worth it though for such a mild build.
I just want a throttle cable back haha.

Not sure huh?

Stand alone for your bone stock car do it bro

Oh, and you don't use DSC huh? That means, especially where you live, you're putting other people's lives in danger. Way to go.

This is spiraling out of control faster then i anticipated.
Havent even hit the 1hr mark. Can only imagine whats in store haha
I bet those same people are running their stock tune and their mafs aswell.
Sht all you got to do is buy it it even installs itself!

Also when i said stock was talking about the tune.

I believe youve misinterpreted my orignal post which is more my fault in regards to how it was structured. The standalone came into play when talking about dbw delete. Not that i needed one for my mods.

There's actually a config scalar in the MSS54 DME that allows switch between cable operation and torque manager/DBW. You would however lose all torque management functions though i'd assume.
