^ Not bad advice. Your e9x is a good car. If the f90 is your ultimate goal and you still like your e9x, just keep it until you can get into an f90. Especially if you are torn on getting rid of the e9x and have no clear replacement in mind. Otherwise, you're going to eat a bunch of depreciation on the interim car.

Saw a lightly modded AW E90 M3 on the road today... looked quite good.

If I knew I was going to switch to M5 in 2 years then stick with E90. If a good used F80 could be a longer term car then might as well start shopping now and go for it.

But like dawg said ditching the E90 now for an F80 and then F90 in a couple years will be the high dollar route. Iíd love an F15M but assume itíll drop when the new one arrives soon.
