Default Well this is a little ridiculous

The damn speaker cover for the woofers in the door are over a hundred a piece. That's more than the damn speaker!!

I swear to god last year these were $20. Sooooooo, f*** that. Good excuse to get some door cards with leather. I would love, LOVE to sucker punch the d-bags at BMW that are responsible for this.

I just saw a receipt for a fuel pump relay for $43 shipped, its $110 now. Kinda sucks but the alternative is worse, I'm thankful they still make the parts.

I am not thankful haha. At a certain point it's just not worth it, this isn't a classic Ferrari.
Shitty thing is I think I tossed the plastic piece that broke off. I could have easily made a repair that wasn't noticeable.
And 1200 for a solenoid? Yeah no thanks.

I'd say just get one from a partout. I had a door panel that was pretty trashed and I sold the speaker mesh to another forum member a while back for cheap. Only trick is they are plastic welded on there so it takes a bit of work with a soldering iron. Pretty easy though.

This is only going to continue and get worse as we transition into BMW classic.
