Default What worn out suspension parts to replace to return car back to factory ride?

My new to me convertible is sitting around 95k miles and it doesn't feel quite as tight as I like it to. What worn out parts should I start replacing? I'm sure the stock shocks are probably done and I'd like to maintain the stock ride, would going with a set of Koni's be cost effective and come close to stock ride? I've never heard of anyone replacing worn out stock shocks with factory shocks (probably not cost effective). Any advice is appreciated.

TIA!

Koni yellows
Front control arms
FCABs
Tie Rods
steering guibo
rear inner upper control arm bushings
rear inner lower control arm bushings
rear out upper control arm bearings
rear outer lower control arm bearings
RTABs
front sway bar end links
rear sway bar end links
front sway bar bushings
rears sway bar bushings
RSMs
engine mounts
trans mounts
diff mounts
subframe bushings

Most of the time, rubber bits are pretty used up by ~100,000 miles (all cars, not unique to this one).

If you want it drive like new... replace all of it.

Lovely list lol. What's an estimated cost partswise to replace all? What are the key ones that you'd recommend if I were to prioritize to do in 2-3 stages?

If you wanted to do it in 2 stages, I'd do the front of the car first and the rear of the car second, assuming your RTABs aren't shot. It's the only way you won't be paying for labor twice.

Your 3rd stage can be the cooling system, if that's original. It, like all BMWs, should also be replaced at 100,000 mile intervals

Part wise, depends on how you go. If you get all OE BMW with BMW badge it'll be more than if you hunt it down piece by piece and get the OEM (as in, the company that made it for BMW-- which generally results in 30-50% part cost savings.

The OEMs found here:
http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=566749

I'd estimate ~$3000 for OE suspension bits, $2000 for the OEM suspension bits, and ~$1000 for the cooling system (the OEM not available for the expensive bits).

That's a sensible approach (2 stages, F and then R). Good thing this isn't my daily! I'll be spreading this out over the next year as it approaches 100k

This...

I did the above (plus some other stuff) as part of my quest to refresh the mechanicals of my car. I can confirm first hand that people are not exaggerating when they say "it's a completely different driving experience". I've been surprised at the difference it's made. The car handles and rides so crisply and smoothly. Interestingly lots of the interior rattles are vastly reduced now that the car rides over rough road so much better. Well worth the effort to do it all in my opinion.

That is a big ass list lol...

I would do these for immediate change:

1. FCAB
2. RTAB
3. Front control arms and links

That'll do for now... but eventually all of that other hard to reach shit should be taken care of also... and inner outer tire rods

Thank you for the abridged list! That's good to know and is what I'm going to try first to get some immediate fixes in place

assuming nothing is actually completely worn out, the largest differences will probably be from stiffening the FCABs, RTABs (limiters), shocks, and sway bars

and maybe a better alignment
