Sirenty, I'm not sure what the issue would be that would differ from any other brand header. The ARH system comes with a high flow metallic cat that works extremely well and we have a 49 State cat option at an additional cost for those that want the visual aspect. Properly tuned you would not have had an issue with either cat option.

Well first off, there are a couple different approaches to get the green light on emissions with these and most catless headers in 49 states. I bought the catted version because I've been down the catless road before and really rather not. What I'll probably end up doing is coding the map so that the rear O2 sensors are coded out, anyways. I believe that the 200 cell cat will be fine for passing emissions here in Virginia but with the O2 sensor coded out, thats one less replacement item to worry about.

I will be running a stock tune for a while until I can justify spending more money on the car.

With being so close to TTFS, it made a lot of sense for me to go with these headers. Frank spends a lot of time and effort performing the custom tunes. With these headers, the car will come alive!

Personally, I think you should have gone with the ARH setup. I'd message Nick and see what he can do for you. These gains are insane to hear 17 years since the car has been sold in the USA.

Congrats on the headers! Frank will have you all set with the tune. Looking forward to seeing that beautiful color.

I apologise if this was already answered and I missed it, but what is the pipe ID after the split to mate to section 2? I assume 2.5" ID?

Yes the two pipes after the Y are 2-1/2" OD. It's a direct fit to section 2.

Hey guys,

Just checking in to see if those of you who purchased the S54 system have any data to share with the community.

I know some of you are still waiting on tuning solutions, but please do keep us updated. Thanks so much!

Got my set last week. Look so amazing! What craftsmanship!

It'll be a couple months until I get a tune but from a quality standpoint, they're the best set of headers I've ever seen produced for a bmw.

Thanks Nick

Have you installed them? If you have, how does the car run?
