Default Castrol Edge Supercar 10W-60

So I was just in a Bauhaus today (like Germany's Home Depot) and figured I'd check out the motor oils. They have this Castrol Edge 10W-60 'Supercar' and I was just wondering if anyone's seen this in the states. I figure it's the same as Edge TWS but it's so expensive, €25 for a liter or €100 for a 5 liter jug. Says its good for Aston, R8 V10, BMW M, Bugatti, Koeniggsegg, and Ferrari... was the now Edge TWS just formulated for the US?

Interesting they stock Castrol 10W-60 but no Liqui Moly 10-60, especially considering Castrol is technically British and Liqui Moly is German.

Thoughts?

Aside from the color of the bottle and the Supercar label I fail to see how it's any different from the TWS we're used to.

If anyone has input from a technical standpoint with proof I'd love to hear it. Every time I do my oil change they change something with these stupid bottles (color, label, removing BMW M text, etc.), so I feel like I'm gambling with my oil changes every time.

I posted about this not too long ago. I'm currently running it in my e46 M3 and it runs great. I also got it for way cheaper than 99 euros.

Are you running that stuff on a street car? It looks like you're in Munich, I'm studying at TUM all summer

nice maybe we can go for a beer one day.

he buys it by the pale, uses it for his s65 daily and s54 track car.

looking at the specs is not far of the Castrol.

I just got 6 liters of the castrol 10w60 used in the audi R8GT, cost me $9/L

The supercar 'label' could be the same stuff but meant for Europe??

It seems like the supercar name is the newest replacement for TWS as people have seen it in the states too
