Default Dimensions of OE Foam Supports/Shims for Front Bumper Bar

Photo: Braymond141

Does anyone have the dims of these 5 stock pieces?

I saw this thread but his dims are based on an aftermarket cover.

Any help is greatly appreciated as these are really hard to find.

Thanks!!

My OE Euro cover fits like a POS rep

FWIW: If I could get a complete set I'd probably be able to duplicate them for a pretty fair price.

Ironic that you post this literally a week after I followed that CSL shimming DIY.

I botched the cutting and the gluing. You can see where I had trouble under the driver side headlight. The real hard part for me is adjusting the bumper using the white mount behind the turn signal.

If you cut the foam straight and glue it down right, it should work fine. Use the old dried glue for reference of where to glue the new pieces. Also, be sure to use a glue that wont melt the foam. The big difference is, styrofoam is a lot softer compared to the OEM shims.

FWIW: Skillzo provided shims that I will have scanned this week. My goal is to have pieces produced to OE spec. Material and completion date are TBD.

If you had to guess, would it be more like 1mo or 6mo out?

I haven't found the shim thread but I did find this:
