Exclamation Dynolicious-- iPhone app that does 0-60, quarter mile, G's you pull, etc

http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/M...286208729&mt=8

I know this has been posted about in OT, but lots of people don't check that section and should know about this... it's just AWESOME

This is the best iPhone app I've downloaded yet. I measures your G's (lateral, acceleration, braking), and pretty accurately does 0-60, quarter mile, etc (consistently similar to what I'm able to get at real drag strips!). It's $13, but easily worth every dollar.

I love it

Ian, how do you keep your phone steady when running the tests?

If this thing actually works, I'll DL it today.

Weird... Does it work using the accelerometer and GPS somehow?

Edit: Huh... Just read the product page on iTunes... Just the accelerometer... Cool... I bought an iPod touch earlier this summer but returned it after I realized it was just a tease for the iPhone... Wish this was out at the time...

What do I plug into weight and drivetrain loss?

Around 17-18% loss. As for weight...you + the car. Isn't the E46 around 3400lbs?
