Default Flying to NYC for the weekend - car things to do?

I'm traveling to NYC this weekend for a work conference but will have to explore. Any car related things you guys recommend?

Take a cab ride, ask driver to roll up windows and turn heat on.

Buy a metro card and use your own 2 feet to get around. Best way to explore.

Parking is a b!tch in the city.

it's about the last place on earth conducive to car stuff.

but you could drive a few hours and go to Lime Rock in NW CT, which I love.

I highly recommend driving around on FDR and 9A, take queens bridge back forth few times. Also, don't miss out on driving in and out of Holland and Lincoln tunnel, at least few times.....and you are welcome! I almost forgot... don't bother about EZPASS you should be fine.

You can bring your go-pros, rent an Aventador:

then post youtube videos of Manhattan's reaction to the Aventador...

Those are all good suggestions, but a little on the novice side. When you are ready for the ultimate drive experience just go ahead and drive The Belt around 6pm. Now that's a pro level drive.

Yup, I'm on a car enthusiast website in one of the wealthiest cities and I'm concerned about cars.

I stopped by the Ferrari dealership, still looking for a good car museum.

Thanks guys.
