so since you mentioned oil pan:

i drive/crew for SRI racing based in Greensboro NC. earlier this year at Charlotte motor speedway i was set to drive a shift in their E30 chump car. the driver before me was warned not to hit the gators too hard bc of the oil pan and how ridiculously big the gators are at charlottes infield. naturally he didnt listen and busted the oil pan. didn't get to drive that race. but our teams other car (e36) won 1st place. that's my story.
