Default M3 did not fail me

i have the Tiens ss coil over kit on my car, and the rear springs rate is 650. im in the market for new rear springs due to coming back home from a 230 mile trip and my passenger rear side gave out looks like the bump stop failed and spring popped off after hitting a DIP in the road doing about 80 MPH on highway, after hitting the dip and choppy road started to hear metal to metal knocking noise like something was just bouncing around, both tires are gone but the car didn't bottom out, got it to a u haul place and put it on a flatbed due to BMW roadside assistance failed me and my roadside assistance from my discover card wanted $800 to deliver it from denton tx to tulsa ok. Drover about 66 miles till i got to the nearest UHAUL store. car is now in the garage and had a hell of a day yesterday, i don't know how bad the damage is till i drop off the car with my mechanic so he can inspect the bottom of the car. ill post some pics when i get them
i have NANKANGS NS II 255/35/19 which had 80% tire before the rear passenger side gave out both tires are damaged due to rubbing against the tire wall

Was the dip a foot deep? A dip should not make the spring pop off like that. I run 550/650 on my AST's.

Sounds like you did more than $800 of damage by toasting your tires and who knows what else. I would have gotten it towed $.02

Hate to say it but from what you initially posted OP....I'd have to agree with Winegums' statement above. GLWR....

That was one of the more annoying "paragraphs" to read.

as far i can see probably need to replace tires, springs and installation but who knows i do have the car schd to be looked at tommorow so will keep you guys posted. i will probably go with a softer set up due to oklahoma roads are terrible and some of the TX roads are pretty bad to N35. also $800 was just to have it picked up its was nother $800 to have it delivered to tulsa. $1600, also i did call bmw road side asistance but just got busy dial tone very disponted due to being a member and not being able to rich BMW road side assistance. i will probably go with a thrid party with unlimited miles for future reference.

Yeah i agree- this is difficult to read. I dont know why people do this.
918 i am sorry to hear about your car- I HATE hearing stories like this about our cars.
And you should probably start reading over your posts before you post it. Just to see how it flows.
