Default SOS Light

Did a google search, as well I searched on the forums... after 4 pages still haven't found the answer...

I just went out for a drive to the store and noticed the SOS Light blinking, not a steady blinking either, (actually it almost seems like it's blinking SOS in morse code). I just found this odd since I've never seen it blink before.

Any idea why it's blinking?

I should have checked the owners manual (which I'm about to do) but I figured I'd just ask on the forums anyhow.

Had this problem when I pushed the button once. Locked up my radio too. Pulled the phone fuse and reinserted it, it's in the glove box. Hope this helps.

Might do that, but the radio isn't locked up. There's nothing out of the normal happening, just the light blinking randomly.

Thread revival.

I just had this happen today. Pulled the fuses… no luck (perhaps I didnt wait long enough before putting them back in). So I disconnected the rear view mirror. Let it sit for a second, restarted the car, turned off the car, reconnected the mirror…. All seems to be good now. Just FYI in case anyone else has this issue.
