Remember the rumored Porsche 960 with its mid engine 8 cylinder and a 0-60 around 2.5-3.0 seconds? What a car man, if only someone would make that for, like, 1/8th the price.

Agreed. It seems like it's going to be a fantastic performer for the price. That's why I give it a solid "Yes". I guess I'll have to wait and see if it deserves a f@ck yes.

Iíve never driven one, but yes.

In fact the rental Camaro SS I had actually drove like what I imagined a Corvette would drive. Very flat, lots of grip, big motor up front... of course the Vette does all that for a few hundred pounds less.

The Camaro more than anything can justify the Vette going mid engine to differentiate itself.
