Love that it's mid-engine, N/A, and RWD. The interior is ok IMO, but I'll wait till I can sit in one. I'd prefer real gauges, but I think that battle is lost. Just give me Singer-like gauges in a new car . Looks like the seat options are good.
No manual is sucky, but I'm not shocked. Surprised at weight too at 3366, a c6 Z06 was just over 3100 IIRC.

Beyond that, who is paying near double for a GT4? Way more than double for an C2S? “Corvette vs 911” has been a thing for as long as I can remember, and it’s always, “the Vette is adequate, but (pick one or more): ugly, slower, leaf springs, unrefined, terrible interior, sketchy build quality, bro car,” etc. Obviously a 911 will remain a special car, the Cayman/Boxster will be lighter, etc., but are they twice as good?

And how many folks who just want a “sports car” aren’t gonna give a look to this thing when it’s at last shed most of that old baggage, especially when you’re looking at that discount and almost certainly lower TCO?

Will suspend final judgment until the driving reviews are in, but I doubt that a company who made leaf springs work this late into the 21st century is going to produce a turd having finally been given a MR platform on (gasp) coils.

Plus 992 is getting softer and more insulated from the driving experience.
2 door panamera doesn’t sound good or special.

Bang for buck performance. For now anyway. Looks like a bland ferrari though. Not bad looking, just not great. Can't wait to see how it performs.

60k (C8) + 40k = 100k (GT4)

The answer is therefore 42 kinds of idiots.

I'm not interested in this or a Cayman, so it doesn't matter to me at all. I'm a bit surprised that some of you guys think many Porsche customers have any issues whatsoever overpaying for their products at all. Whether the performance is inferior, equal or superior. They will continue to snatch up expensive 4 cylinder Cayman/Boxsters by the boatload. Some potential Porsche customers will opt for this instead, no doubt, but I don't think Porsche has called any emergency meetings at this point. lol. Little dramatic up in here.

I'd rather spend my hard-earned, government handout money on a Merc AMG.

Default 2020 Corvette Stingray Unveiled

Not sure on the validity of this so take this with a grain of salt but if true it does option up pretty quickly with the Z51 package.

I’m thinking the Grand Sport will be the one to get. Still N/A, but with (hopefully) better looking aero, body, and wheels.
