Do you start focusing on feel? Exclusivity? Offer a manual trans to try and reel in purists? EV/hybrid tech?
I don't think Porsche is going to lose sleep over it.

Only things I don’t love are:
- Tail lights and rear end. Could be MUCH better. It looks cheap now. Too much Chevy.
- no MT option
- needs a bigger wing

It’s a mullet of cars. Looks great from front. a mess from the rear.

The same people buying the base 718 today. Not sure many are cross shopping with the Vette. Also anyone wanting a manual or good looking car. They don’t care about <3 sec performance if buying a base cayman...it’s fast enough for them.

The golf club picture blew me away. There are many older golfers that drive vettes and fitting a bag is a game-changer for them. When I take my 964 I have to put the clubs in the passenger seat.

It will be really interesting to see what this thing can do now that it should finally be able to put the power down. I'm predicting a lot of success for this model. Z06 will probably have some derivative of the lt4 or lt5. I'd love to see the ZR1 get a turbocharged engine and blow the nuts off of everything shy of $300k.

Also I think it looks bang on from this angle

This. Plus anyone who appreciates the size of the Cayman, better build quality, a more descrete appearance, not sharing a customer lounge with Honey Boo Boo's family, round steering wheels, etc. Plenty of reasons other than lap times.
