Truly, I donít think itís overstyled. The hoodís a little busy, but it doesnít feel extraneous. The creases go somewhere, not all this swoopy shit a la BMW. And Iím not seeing the gaping openings ala C7 and Camaro.

If anything, my only ďcomplaintĒ is that itís sort of generic looking. Given how overstyled I think theyíve been leaning of late, this feels extremely restrained and even safe. Just my 2p

I'm not a Vette guy, but I like it... It looks a lot better than I thought it would look.

Absolutely nailed it. Glad they had the balls to piss off the old hairdressers.

Same, my favorite thing about it is all the old guy takes about betrayals of an icon, never buying another and so forth. This car sorely needed to get much better and radical change to modernize was required in order to do it. Canít keep pleasing Boomer traditionalists and move the thing forward.

Iím still incredulous at the base price. Game changer

It’s so much car for the money, but you also buy a mess of styling. Hoping the Z06/Zora/Zr1/Whatever will fix this.

Interesting. It does look a bit funky at that angle.

Looks like an excellent overall value and the only thing I don't really like is the rear and that long single row of buttons.

Fair enough. Perhaps the looks will grow on me. Black may also help some of my issues with it.

Regardless, it's going to be beast mode and by far the best bang for the buck out there.

So you have to wonder, how does this change the game for companies like Porsche, McLaren, Aston and everyone else who plays in the sub 200k space.

Youíre not going to win on speed, youíre not going to win on MR cachet.

Do you start focusing on feel? Exclusivity? Offer a manual trans to try and reel in purists? EV/hybrid tech?

C8 Chevy Corvette could be electrified in future variants, report says

edit - Wonder how long it will take for these to get into the hands of the automotive journalists. And agree.. really hope it shakes things up and leaves the field scrambling.

Agree. Looking at Harley's sales trends, may have been an eye opener for GM as their current clientele was dying out from underneath them.
