Yup... I think is the third time in my life I've heard that the new Vette is going to be mid-engined. Believe that's Dave McLellan on the right there... is that Duntov in the middle?

without 8cyl it is just not a vett, maybe they should put 10cyl in this thing then its a super car

There was actually a mid engined V6 vette released in the 70's as well man, before the indy concept. If my memory serves me correctly.
