Default Where to get INPA Software

I purchased the K+ DCAN cord and I'm unable to get the provided INPA software to run. It seems that it can only run on an ancient 32bit machine.

Windows10 64bit will not install it.

Does anybody know where to get the INPA software or some other good diagnostic software that's compatible with this cable?

I'm trying to figure out the root of my rough idle/random misfire problem and a regular P-reader isn't giving me any useful codes.

I consider myself highly technically inclined with this stuff, and I still had trouble with getting software working properly. Ultimately I bought a bcables.com package (cables + software) and everything worked perfectly. Even if you know what you're doing, it can easily take hours to do the install and configuration...it was so much easier even for me to just buy a known good cable and software install package and have it all simply work.

Bcables and Mikes easy tools is what I would recommend too. Super easy and works right away,

Being a Mac user for a while I recently bought a pc to run inpa for my car. That being said I’m not very proficient using a pc, but numerous YouTube tutorials taught me that at some point, either during install or probably even at a later date (I forget the details) you can right click the software, choose compatibility, (maybe under properties), and elect to run the program backwards compatible with windows 7 or so, which might solve your 32 bit system problem. Definitely worth YouTubing inpa install and look for that bit imo.

Regards

Another vote for "Mike's Easy BMW Tools". Worked for me on Win 7 and 10.

You can download Windows 10 32bit for free. This is a software requirement, not an "ancient machine" limitation.
