I don't like the styling or lack of manuel, but it is a steal at 60-70k.

495hp V8, dual clutch trans, front & rear double wishbone suspension, 3300 lbs. A freaking Z4 M40i is 60-70k.

What’s not to like about the all-American, trailer park dream car?

I had a C4 and it was total garbage. Pretty terrible in almost every way. One of my friends has a C6 Z06 that I've driven a few times and it was extremely powerful (obviously) but felt huge like it had too much tire under it, it seemed slow to react, the seating position was super low, felt cheapish, etc. I drove the same friends C7 Z07 a couple of times this weekend and it is worlds better than the C6. The magneride is great, the tunable exhaust is awesome, it (obviously) feels like a rocketship, seating position is more upright and engaging (IMO of course) like the E46's, the interior looks and feels pretty quality, it feels really nimble...just all really impressive IMO. Old vettes...meh...C7Z...wow.

Not a fan of the C6/7 but the new C8 seems like it could drop the average age of Corvette buyers significantly. I'm hoping some folks will be dumping their C5 Z06 for a new C8 and drop the price of a decent one to under $20K. Then I can add one to the garage.
