that is a ton of work just to get to the starter. this is the kind of job that makes me long for my first bimmer, an e21. this would be a 5 minute job in that car. i guess there's a price for 200+ more ponies.

impressive DIY, this is the kind of stuff that makes this forum invaluable. having said that i really hope i never have to do this. i hate dealing with all those special clips and plastic pieces. at least you don't have to get under the car.
