Spray them with PB Blaster the night before.

Are they the same as both 13952 & 13949? $25 is hella deal! I need to replace mines in the future, I heard these things failed at 100k miles.

Almost posted this elsewhere but this thread much more recent...

Best video I've found shows M54 sensor replacement. Question to anyone who has done this job -- how the S54 differs (other than strut bar obviously)?

According to video, precats should be easily accessible from top with removal of secondary air pump, but our engine bay layout looks different.

For part #s, I'm finding 11781743994 and 11781405324 for the pre-cats.

Thanks in advance for any first-hand advice.

They are the same narrow-band sensor as the OE sensor. I run these on s62 and s54 without a single problem.

So to confirm, you do have the North American headers? It would be good not to get that issue confused when there are so many M3's with aftermarket headers these days..
