Default Some help w Iddle issue.. ICV done..

Hi

First of all thank you to whoever is reading this..
Now,
I have been struggling with this sudden iddle drop at the light or while im parking.. This is with the car already warm up..

I did a search and went thru a lot of threads talking about the ICV.

So, i cleaned the ICV, clean throttle, replace vent piece that goes from valve cover to IM. replaced TPS (2), re-tight hoses that connect the ICV, replaced intake boot, replaced maf, change plugs and i still have the same dam issue.

History of car, 150k miles, vanos are good, Rod bearings replaced at dealer, vanos filter is new, coils are new, i got an AFE stage 2 intake.

At this point, i'm thinking on replacing the ICV with a new one, or maybe the coolant temp sensor? EGR valve could be dirty?

I have the o2 sensor code cuz im running headers, but that have never been the issue..

Any input to help out ill really appreciated..

I dont have one of those fancy scanners. just a typical obd2 scanner..
The only code that shows up is the o2 sensor bank 2 i believe. The same one that shows after u put catless headers.

Thanks

Stan

Well, start with the O2 sensor.

I'm in a unique situation where I have a car with a motor with only 7k miles on it.(roughly) That means new ICV, new TPS, new Throttle Bodies, everything.

I have a small idle stumble as well, one that you can't see on the tach. If you CAN see it on the tach, then we are probably having different issues.

I replaced fuel filter, plugs, all 4 o2 sensors, cleaned my MAF, really everything I could think of. You know what solved the issue? I removed my oiled KnN air filter and put a cheap OEM style paper filter in. Cleaned the idle right up.

My filter is clean, and even if i replace the o2, the light will come up again since i got headers...

I checked the boot at the IM and they are all good too..

Any other thoughts?

Honestly, not really.

Replace your fuel filter.

Try a filter without oil in it.

I would reset your adaptations. That will make a huge difference.
