I like to drive fast and I don't want the steering wheel to do anything other than what I tell it. I don't like overly quick turn-in or fast ratios and I like some amount of understeer if really provoked.

I'm weird
where do you guys go here in SoCal where you can be so precise with your alignment specs?

Any shop that has the laser (e.g., "Hawkeye") alignment equipment. I once went to a local place where the guy got out his highschool geometry kit and I was like "ummm, no thanks bye."

In all seriousness, if the guy knows what he's doing, it can be done manually, but I feel like those people are getting harder and harder to find.

Do PSS stretch good?

I know they run a little big but I only had the experience with them on my oem 19's (255/35/19)

I want to try 325/25 on 20x14

It's obvious you don't care about proper chassis setup and you're not the type to cough up the dough required for top quality parts, so why bother with PSS? Seems like they'd be wasted on what you set your car up for. I'm being serious.

Just get whatever's cheapest and burn through them enjoying your car the way you want to; burnouts, drifting.

I can't believe no one mentioned inflation. If your tires were overinflated they will wear out pretty quickly. It happened to my wifes f30. Its usually a good rule of thumb to check tire inflation every couple weeks.

Go see Darren & Chris at West End Alignment in Gardena. You'll never go anywhere else again - they're absolute wizards when it comes to alignment.

This. Call and get ready to wait, but it's well worth it. These guys setup most of the super fast autoX cars around here

Or Racewerkz Engineering.

Apart from anything else, it would give a tremendous 'feelgood' boost to the end of the season, be the greatest comeback story since Lazarus, and give us a chance to enjoy Robert's laconic humour again. Remember that monster shunt of his in Canada? The next day, as he walked out of hospital, a journalist asked him if he'd seen the crash on TV. Robert Kubica stopped, looked the journo right in the eye and said: "I've seen it twice: the first time I was there!"
